Insurance

The insurance industry is one that has seen tremendous change in the last decade with the influx of new service models. With the pace of change being so rapid, the Clochase insurance industry practice focuses on the development of tools that serve to reduce the per client costs faced by insurance providers. Through the development of a number of mobile applications we have enabled selected US insurance providers to redefine their vehicle accident investigation processes. This enables the insurance provider to have a back office of season accident investigators/adjudicators whose main job is review police reports, and detailed accident photos, and vehicle photos which generally have been taken at the accident site and again at the repair shop by a series of "junior accident clerks". The main role of these clerks is to provide the on the spot eyes (photos) that are deemed most appropriate by the investigators/adjudicators. By utilizing a real-time interface, the adjudicators can review the photos/video/accident reports completed by the clerks and advise them on the additional information/photos to obtain in order to complete the review of the claim.

The other area in which this business practice provides value to the insurance providers is in the development of tools targeted at their clients. The main focus of these tools is in the development of supporting documentation for the level of insurance provided a location. Where the client sees this as a way to support a possible future claim, the insurance providers view this as a way to gain insight into the assets that the client wishes to protect. By providing an annual review of the assets that the client has documented, and insurance agent will be able to determine whether the level of coverage that the client has sufficient for the protection they desire.
